CHAPTER 02 · LESSON 04

A repeatable trend-identification process

A repeatable process is more useful than a label chosen after the outcome is visible.

Fix the observation window

Choose the instrument, timeframe and visible range before marking important highs and lows. Do not keep changing the window to preserve the preferred story.

Apply the same swing rule

Keep only swing points that materially change continuation, correction or invalidation. Compare progress and pullback with the same rule across examples.

Record uncertainty

When structure is incomplete or conflicting, use a neutral or lower-confidence description and define the next observable test.
